iTextMaster is a professional, privacy-focused PDF toolkit with 106 tools for editing, converting, merging, splitting, and securing PDF files. Most file tools run locally in your browser, and server-side tools disclose their processing path before submission.
Browser-local PDF tools are free with no usage limits, whether signed in or not. Some server-side website tools, such as Webpage to PDF and HTML to PDF, may apply fair-use or abuse-prevention limits. Sign in only when you need API Keys and API Credits.
No account is required for browser-local website tools. API Keys, API Credits, billing, and account history require an account; some server-side website tools may apply fair-use limits.
Yes. You can use website PDF tools without creating an account or logging in. Accounts are only required for API Keys, API Credits, billing, and account history.
Website tools do not use API Credits. API Credits are used only for authenticated API calls and automation workflows, not for free browser-based website tools.
For most file-based website tools, no. They process locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Tools that require server-side processing, such as Webpage to PDF, disclose that before you submit data.
Webpage to PDF, HTML to PDF, URL-based conversion, and API requests use iTextMaster servers because they need Chromium rendering, URL fetching, or authenticated automation. Most file-based website tools still run locally in your browser.
Yes, iTextMaster is designed with privacy in mind. Most file tools keep sensitive documents on your device, while server-side tools clearly state what is submitted and block private/local targets where relevant.
For confidential documents, prefer file-based website tools that process locally in your browser. Avoid submitting confidential URLs or HTML to server-side tools unless your workflow allows that server-side processing.
Your files are stored temporarily in your browser's memory during processing. Once you close the browser tab or navigate away, all file data is automatically cleared. We don't store any of your files.
Generated PDFs from browser-based tools are created on your device and are not stored by iTextMaster. Server-side tools return the generated file to you and are not designed as document storage.
iTextMaster offers 106 tools including: merge, split, compress, convert (to/from images, text, JSON), edit, annotate, sign, add watermarks, encrypt/decrypt, OCR, and many more.
Yes, you can merge multiple PDF files into one. Simply use the Merge PDF tool, upload your files, arrange them in the desired order, and click merge.
Yes, iTextMaster supports converting various image formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, SVG, HEIC) to PDF. You can convert single or multiple images at once.
iTextMaster provides annotation and editing tools including highlighting, adding text, shapes, images, and signatures. For full text editing, the PDF Editor tool offers comprehensive annotation capabilities.
iTextMaster works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend using the latest version of your browser for the best experience.
Most tools support files up to 100MB, with some tools like merge and compress supporting up to 500MB. These limits are in place to ensure smooth performance in your browser.
Since all processing happens in your browser, performance depends on your device's capabilities. Large files require more memory and processing power. For best results, close other browser tabs and applications.
Currently, iTextMaster requires an internet connection to load the application. However, once loaded, the PDF processing itself happens locally and doesn't require a connection.
If an API call fails validation or processing, the response returns an error code and message so your application can retry, fix the request, or show the failure to a user.
Credits are charged only for successful API processing. If an API request is charged and then processing fails, iTextMaster automatically refunds the failed Credits back to the same account.
