Most file-based PDF tools run with JavaScript and WebAssembly directly in your browser.

Clear Server Use

Tools that require backend processing, such as Webpage to PDF, disclose server-side handling before submission.

Automatic Cleanup

Temporary processing data is cleared after the request or when you close the tab. We do not intentionally store converted files.

No Content Tracking

We don't track your file contents or personal information. Your documents stay private.

1. Introduction

iTextMaster ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our PDF tools.

2. How Our Service Works

iTextMaster is local-first. Most PDF tools run in your browser, while a small number of tools require server-side processing and disclose that clearly. This means:

  • Most file-based PDF processing happens directly in your web browser
  • Server-side tools submit only the information needed for that conversion, such as a public URL for Webpage to PDF
  • Localhost, private network, metadata, and internal-only URLs are blocked for server-side webpage conversion
  • Generated results are returned to your browser and are not intentionally stored by the tool

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Your Files

We do not collect your files for local browser tools. When a tool requires server-side processing, the page explains that processing before submission and the generated result is returned to your browser.

3.2 Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our service:

  • Which tools are most popular
  • General geographic region (country level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

This data is collected when analytics is enabled under the regional policy described below or after you grant consent. It is used for aggregate reporting and is not intended to identify you.

4. Local Storage

iTextMaster may use your browser's local storage to:

  • Remember your language preference
  • Store your recent tool history
  • Save work-in-progress for interrupted sessions

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

5. Cookies

We use essential storage and optional analytics cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function properly
  • Preference cookies: Remember settings like language preference
  • Analytics cookies: Enabled by default outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, and only after opt-in within those regions

Google Analytics Consent Mode defaults analytics storage to denied in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Advertising storage and advertising signals remain denied in every region.

6. Third-Party Services

iTextMaster does not share file contents with analytics or advertising providers. When analytics is enabled under our regional policy or by your consent, Google Analytics receives aggregate page and interaction events. We do not use:

  • Analytics event parameters containing file names, document contents, email addresses, API keys, or payment-page data
  • Advertising networks
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Third-party file processing services for uploaded documents

7. Your Rights

In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, you can decline analytics through the consent prompt. In every region, you can block or delete analytics cookies, clear local storage, or change browser privacy settings at any time. Contact us if you have a privacy request concerning account or analytics data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
