How do I crop an image online?

Can I crop to an exact pixel size?
Yes. Enter an exact crop width and height plus its X and Y position. This selects that many source pixels; it does not upscale the selection.
Which aspect ratios are available?
Free, original, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16, and 4:5 are available. Free mode accepts any rectangular proportion.
Is cropping the same as resizing?
No. Cropping removes pixels outside a selection. Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of the whole image or a crop. Use Image Resizer afterward if you need another resolution.
Can I preserve a transparent background?
Yes with PNG or WebP output. JPG cannot store transparency and fills transparent pixels with white.
Does it keep animated GIF frames?
No. The browser crops the first GIF frame and exports a static PNG, JPG, or WebP image.
Is EXIF or other image metadata preserved?
No. The new file contains the rendered crop but does not copy the source EXIF, camera, location, or animation metadata.
