Free Contact Sheet Maker - Photos to PDF

Turn a batch of photos into a printable index. Arrange thumbnails, choose captions, preview every page and download one PDF locally.

Photos and filenames stay in your browser.

About This Tool

A printable photo index

A contact sheet places several photo thumbnails on each page so a photographer or client can review a collection at a glance. This free contact sheet maker creates a PDF for selection, reference and archiving. Choose filenames to identify the originals, or numbers for a simple visual list.

Automatic pagination and readable captions

Choose A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, 2–6 columns and 0–12 mm spacing. Photos keep their proportions inside each cell. Additional photos flow onto new pages. Reorder or remove photos before downloading; long filenames are shortened to fit one line.

Local photos, smaller thumbnails

Import up to 100 JPG, PNG or WebP photos, at most 20 MB each and 100 MB combined. Images above 40 megapixels are rejected. The tool prepares JPEG thumbnails with a maximum 1200-pixel edge, fills transparency with white and omits animation and original metadata. Keep your original photos. Processing and PDF export stay in your browser.
